Differing from other limiters – whether inspired by vintage analogue units or newly developed for the digital domain – C-Max employs a unique low-latency algorithm that can deliver greater transparency or, when wanted, a wide range of coloured and aggressive effects. It's easy to master, quick and simple to use, and the results can be superb.
For limiting and maximising, the solution... is C-Max
Three types of limiting effects:
Mild processing with no Aggression provides clean limiting for vocals, instruments and mixes, raising the perceived level and revealing low-level detail. This limiting will be cleaner and more transparent than that obtained using other processes.
More aggressive limiting with small to moderate amounts of Aggression adds crunch to the sound, providing a range of maximising effects. Used this way, C-Max will increase the level and presence of the sounds being treated.
When pushed into heavy limiting and with high levels of Aggression, C-Max will add a desirable ‘dirtiness’ to the signals being treated. This effect is employed widely in modern music production to make individual instruments or even whole mixes sound aggressive and contemporary.
