How does it do this? Unlike other limiters (which operate across the whole frequency spectrum or in a small number of bands) C-Max is frequency-aware, so that a loud sound in one part of the spectrum doesn't cause unpleasant ducking artefacts in another part. This means that individual sounds can be limited without affecting the rest of the track, making your limiting more transparent than ever before. But if you want to obtain maximising or creative distortion to make individual tracks or even complete mixes stand out from the crowd, that's no problem either.
